About the Author
Caroline Hickey is the author of Ginny Off the Map which was a Kirkus Reviews Best Children’s Book of the Year, a CCBC Best Book of the Year, a Reading Middle Grade Best Book of the Year, and a Junior Library Guild Gold Standard Selection, as well as Cassie Was Here; Isabelle’s Boyfriend; and many popular series books. She holds an MFA in Creative Writing from The New School in New York City and currently lives outside Washington, DC with her husband, two daughters, and a labradoodle.
