One of the most famous children’s books of all time, Rudyard Kipling’s The Jungle Book remains a thrilling tale of a boy caught between two worlds, now in a beautiful gift edition for the Union Square & Co. Signature Children’s Signature Clothbound Editions line.

Follow Mowgli, the man-cub raised by wolves, on his adventure-filled journey through the heart of the jungle. With guidance from the wise bear Baloo and the graceful panther Bagheera, he learns the complex rules of the wild—but when the fearsome tiger Shere Khan threatens his world, Mowgli must confront the ultimate choice: embrace the Law of the Jungle or the call of the human village.

More than a century after its initial publication, Kipling’s compelling saga of loyalty, belonging, and coming of age remains a powerful and unforgettable classic that is perfect for young readers’ libraries. This edition also includes Kipling’s Just So Stories, a collection of short stories that whimsically explore the origin stories of animals, like how the leopard got its spots.
