Eating Veronica

Veronica’s about to learn that beauty comes with a body count.

Veronica is smart. She’s funny. She’s career driven. And she struggles every day with her scale, the mirror, and the way people judge her for her weight. They’re eating her alive.

Then one night, part of her decides to do something about it.

Soon, people around her start dying. A creepy neighbor.  An insulting ex. The woman down the street. And with each death, Veronica gets thinner. Her cravings disappear. She revels in the compliments, in her newfound confidence, and in her passionate romance with a man who’s always seen her as more than just her body.

But not all of Veronica is shrinking. A piece of her is out there, growing, and its bloody appetite is getting harder and harder to satisfy. Now Veronica must decide what she’s actually hungry for—and who might get devoured in the process.
