Following Dante’s journey through the afterlife, The Divine Comedy is a pseudo-autobiographical poetic narrative consisting of three books: Inferno, Purgatorio, and Paradiso. An in-depth imagining of these celestial kingdoms, The Divine Comedy has been hailed as the “best book literature has achieved” by Jorge Luis Borges and is one of the most influential works of the Italian Renaissance.
