About the Author
John Wynne Jeudwine (1852-1929), was a barrister-at-law at Lincoln’s Inn. He wrote Tort, Crime, and Police in Medieval Britain, compiling laws and customs never before presented in one volume, The Manufacture of Historical Material, Pious Phrases in Politics, and The Foundations of Society and the Land.
