About the Author
Elisabeth Luther Cary (1867-1936) was the art critic for The New York Times in the early twentieth century. Her works include William Morris: Poet, Craftsman, Socialist (1902); Books and My Food: Original Recipes with Literary Quotations for Every Day in the Year (1904); and Artists Past and Present: Random Studies (1909).
