About the Author
Daniel Greenleaf Thompson (1850-1897) was an American lawyer and philosopher. He wrote prolifically on metaphysical subjects, but among his best-known works are The Problem of Evil (1887), A System of Psychology, and Politics in a Democracy (1893).
